Shine with confidence, overcome hair fall in 14 days
Kuala Lumpur - A woman’s confidence and inner beauty shines through when she is free from hair fall. Hair fall, which is a top concern for a majority of women can make women feel less confident in themselves. Recognizing these real issues faced by women, the Dove Rambutmu, Mahkotamu campaign hopes to inspire women to let their confidence shine through once again as they overcome hair fall in the “Serlahkan Diri Dalam 14 Hari Dengan Dove” campaign.
The campaign reaches out to women to help them regain their self-confidence over 14 days through a series of activities that take them beyond their comfort zone. The activities are meant to help women realize their full potential and promote confidence while reassuring women that they can stop hair fall in 14 days with Dove Hair Fall Rescue System¹.
Championing the campaign to regain self-confidence are two real women, Suhainah and Shariffah Nadia, who are also close friends. Suhainah and Shariffah shared how they overcame hair fall to regain their confidence and peace of mind. Both women, who are married with two kids each, felt that hair fall interfered with their relationship with their respective husbands.
Suhainah said, “I am grateful for a very supportive friend in Shariffah who understood the anxiety I was feeling with my hair fall issue. My husband loves to stroke my hair while we watch television and that is when I noticed the hair fall.
Needless to say I was embarrassed but with the Dove Hair Fall Rescue, I am glad to say that my hair is now strong from root to tip. I am no longer self-conscious when my husband strokes my hair.”
At the launch event for the campaign we had 2 speakers Pn Aniqah Husda & Pn Hanim Abdul Rahman sharing tips & experiences on how to be comfortable in one’s own skin & how to improve the quality of relationship with their loved ones.
We also had Suhainah and Shariffah and celebrities Sharifah Shahirah and Yasmin Hani, shared their hair fall dilemmas and their personal journey in overcoming hair fall to regain their self-confidence.
The interactive session between the women revealed how common hair fall is and the various causes of hair fall such as stress, poor diet, lack of sleep and post-partum hair fall. The women went on to share their tips on being free from hair fall and gaining self-confidence once again.
Suhainah and Shariffah both completed the series of activities on theDove Rambutmu, Mahkotamu‘Serlahkan Diri Dalam 14 Hari Dengan Dove’.“It was very enlightening to go out of my comfort zone and to push myself to do things that I would like to do but never had the motivation to do until now.
I felt that I achieved something for myself and that made my confidence level soar. The simple gestures I did with my husband as part of the 14 days also made us appreciate each other even more. I am so much more confident now in myself and I think it shows in how I look and feel. More importantly, no more hair fall!” said Suhainah.
Ng added, “The Dove Rambutmu, Mahkotamu ‘Serlahkan Diri Dalam 14 Hari Dengan Dove’ is a platform to boost women’s’ self-confidence to realize their full potential. Using herself as the starting point, the campaign is also about re-affirming her relationship with the important people in her life like her husband, loved ones, boyfriend or best friend.”

- For 14 days, complete one mission a day
- Share the completed mission via photo or caption
- A digital video will be created for participants based on their 14 days of completed missions
- To win one of prizes, participants have to share their personal digital video on their Facebook page. The more shares achieved, the higher their chances of winning.
